Sony reveals WiMAX Powererd VAIO Z and VAIO P Notebooks

Sony Japan have announced their first WiMAX powered notebooks and ultraportables – VAIO Z and VAIO P respectively. The Wimax is supported with Japan’s UQ communications Inc.

Sony has not yet revealed the products specifications yet but we expect VAIO Z notebook will feature high powered Intel processors while VAIO P ultraportable will come with many processor options. The notebooks are expected to arrive in Japan by the end of this month. Right now Sony is mum on the price and exact release date of these notebooks.
