WWDC 2009: Apple upgrades Macbook Pro, Better Battery Cheaper Price
Apple has just announced new updates to its 15-inch Macbook Pro, 13-inch Macbook and Macbook Air at WWDC 2009. The design is almost the same as the previous versions but the updated Macbook comes with better battery which lasts about 1000 recharges for an average user which is about three times as many charges as before and keeps the battery upto 7-hours which is gain 2-hours more than the previous one. Apple has also replaced the Express card slot with the SD card reader.

The prices of 15-inch Macbook Pro has been slashed with the starting version getting for $1,699, a drop of $300 from the previous versions.
Here are some of the options available for 15-inch Macbooks Pro.

All the three options comes with 4GB DDR3 RAM, GeForce 9400M graphics in addition to 9600M GT graphics with SD card slot and no ExpressCard.
The 13-inch Macbook is also upgraded. It is now considered in Pro line of notebooks. It now comes with the same kind of battery which 15-inch Macbook Pro has got giving 7hrs of power backup, an SD card slot, up to 8GB of RAM, a backlit keyboard and FireWire 800. The base model comes at a price of $1,199.

Both the options come with GeForce 9400M graphics card with SD card slot and no ExpressCard.
Macbook Air is also updated with better battery and there is a price drop of $700 than before with the base model priced at $1,499 while the unit with SSD option comes at $1,799.
