Alienware has recently unveiled there so called “All powerful” ultimate gaming notebook, M17x. It is successor to Alienware’s M17 notebook series.

The 17 inch notebook has all the features which every advanced gamer could want for like the 1GB nVidia GeForce GTX260M GPU. If this one was not enough for your high gaming needs then it can be upgraded to dual 1GB nVidia GeForce GTX 280M GPUs. By default M17x includes Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz P8600 CPU which can also upgraded to Core 2 Extreme Quad-Core CPU. A 4GB DDR2 RAM which is expandable to an 8GB DDR3 RAM. The basic model gets a 250GB HDD which can be upgraded to a massive 1TB HDD or a 512MB of solid-state storage capacity.

Other features includes a nine-cell battery, Wi-Fi, FireWire, 4x USB, eSATA, ExpressCard, 8-in-1 media card reader, dual-layer, Displayport, HDMI, and VGA video-outs and an optional 1920-by-1200-resolution edge-to-edge LCD. It also features nVidia GeForce 9400M G GPU with HybridPower technology which helps you get decent scaled-down graphics when you don’t need the dual graphics cards to conserve the battery power.

The complete thing is packed in 15.98 x 12.65 x 2.11-inch dimensions and weighs massive 11.68-pounds which makes it pretty difficult for frequent travellers. It has got some sleaky looks with lighting kit for the keyboard, numberpad, touchpad, and trim lights.

It comes with a starting price tag of $1799 reasonable enough with the features it is packed with.
