Apple’s Back to School Offer: Buy Macbook get iPod Touch free
You lucky college goers, I must tell you how lucky you are. Apple has officially announced its 2009 back-to-school promotion in which any college goer whether they are students, faculty, education staffers, college board members and also parents of students can get a free 8GB iPod touch on purchase of Apple’s qualified Macbooks.
The offer is such that any college goer who buys qualifying Mac systems as the MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac Pro will get a $229 online rebate that cancels out the price of an 8GB iPod touch. Well if you prefer 8GB iPod nano, 16GB iPod nano, 120GB iPod classic, or 4GB iPod shuffle instead of iPod touch then you will recieve lesser rebates that will similarly compensate for the costs of those models.

In order to qualify you have to buy new Mac before September 8 and the iPod and Mac system must be purchased at the same time.
After recieving both the Mac and iPod you have to submit your claim online by October 8, 2009 and once the claim is submitted you may get the rebate anytime.
The products can be purchased from the Apple Online Store for Education Individuals, an Apple Retail Store, Apple Telesales, or an Apple Authorized Campus Store located in the 50 United States or the District of Columbia.
