Apple’s $999 Macbook gets an uplift – More Storage, Faster CPU and RAM on the shelves

Now that’s a great one. Apple has quietly upgraded specs of their entry-level white plastic MacBook with more storage, fast processing speed and faster memory. The disk space has been increased from 120GB to 160GB giving a direct boost of 40GB. The processor has got a little faster by 0.13GHz from the previous Intel Core 2 Duo 2.00GHz to Intel Core 2 Duo 2.13GHz. As far as DDR2 SDRAM is concerned, the memory is same as previous one at 2GB but got incremented in RAM speed to 800MHz from previous 667MHz.
There is no change in other specs and the price is same as before $999. The upgraded Macbook ships in 24 hrs.
Right now the updated model is available only in Apple USA and Apple Canada but the other international stores like Apple UK shows the older specs.
