HP TouchSmart PC now available to Third Party Developers

People who were not satisfied with touch-friendly applications in HP TouchSmart PC, then here is good news for you. HP has recently released its TouchSmart Application Developer Guidelines to third-party developers, allowing anyone to create good touch-friendly applications that integrate and run within the TouchSmart Software suite on the popular HP TouchSmart PCs.

To have a hands on experience on creating TouchSmart applications, the TouchSmart Community is distributing guidelines to developers and has created a site where developers can interact, download, upload and share their creations with TouchSmart owners.

To generate a buzz, the TouchSmart Community is running a promotion that will send a fortunate developer (travel expenses paid) to demo their software in the HP booth at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, along with a free TouchSmart PC, HP MediaSmart Server, and a month of promotion in the community.
